Graveside services for William Jack "J.B." Kamplain, 80, of Norman, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Norman IOOF Cemetery with the Rev. Phil Ratliff officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service. Mr. Kamplain died Tuesday, May 23, in Henderson, Tenn. He was born Aug. 17, 1925, to Thomas Richard and Victoria (Williams) Kamplain in Wetumka. Mr. Kamplain was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended the Harvest Time Church and was a member of Odd Fellows and the VFW. He is survived by his wife, Ruth of the home; a son, James of Norman; a daughter, Lynetta "Kay" Smith of Hendersonville; a brother, Richard of Sandy Point, Idaho; two grandchildren, Larran and Ladd Smith of Hendersonville; and two great-granddaughters, Lael and Mason Smith of Hendersonville. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David; and brothers and sisters Vineyard and Bill Wines, Eddie and Nanny Offer, Fred Kamplain and Max Kamplain.
