Norman, Oklahoma - Violet "Jean" Campbell was born to Noble and Eva Mae (Stumpf) Brooks on November 1, 1942 in Chickasha, OK. She departed this life on January 19, 2022 at the Norman Regional Hospital at the age of (79) years.
Jean made her home in Norman since 1963 coming from Chickasha. She attended and graduated from Chickasha High school and later attended Beauty School in Oklahoma City. On June 23, 1961 she married the love of her life Michael Campbell, they were married for 20 years until his passing in 1981. Jean was a member of the Norman First Baptist Church. She was employed as a Clerk at the Cleveland County Treasurers Office. Jean enjoyed feeding the birds, fishing, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grand children and great-grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister; Margie Lewis and great-granddaughter; Harper Spears. She is survuved by her son; Darren Campbell and wife Heather of Oklahoma City, daughter; Lisa Spears and husband Chris if Norman, (2) sisters; Cheryle Presley of Louisana, Karen Taylor and husband Charles of Oklahoma City, (11) grandchildren, (15) great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
