Tod M. Tucker "Gampy", was called home to our lord at the young age of 60, on August 11, 2021, Corpus Christi, TX. Tod was born on March 19, 1961 in Norman, Oklahoma to Robert "Bob" Tucker and Norma L. Stufflebean-Tucker. He attended and graduated from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, TX. Tod loved trains, music, animals and of course Sooner Football. Tod started working in radio at the tender age of 15. His voice could be heard at numerous stations across the country spanning over 4 decades. Tod began his radio career at KEYS FM, Z95 and KISS FM/Corpus Christi, his next stop was KJ-103/Oklahoma City. Over the

course of his lengthy career, Tucker is probably best known for his eight-plus years with Renda Broadcasting Tulsa, where he programmed KHTT (K-Hits 106.9) & KBEZ (92.9 Bob FM) until June 2010. He later programmed Cox Media Group Top 40 WPUP (Power 100.1) and Hot AC WGMG (Magic 102.1)/Athens, GA. In April 2013 Tucker returned home to Oklahoma City to do sales for Cox, and was then hired by Tyler Media — he launched and programmed Classic Hip-Hop V-103 (KOMA-HD3), Alternative The Edge (KOMA-HD2) and was PD/morning host at News-Talk KOKC-AM. Earlier in his career Tucker programmed KRUF/Shreveport, LA and KZFM (Z95)/Corpus Christi, TX, did

nights on KALC/Denver, swing at KRBE/Houston and he spent eight years in various roles with Clear Channel Oklahoma City. Two years ago Tucker returned to his first love — programming — when he was hired by Cenla as Operations Manager of the company's Alexandria, LA cluster — Top 40 KQID (Q93), Country 100.3 KRRV, Classic Rock KZMZ (96.9 Rocks), Urban AC KKST (Kiss 98.7), News-Talk KSYL, Sports-Talk KDBS (94.7 ESPN), Soft AC Magic 100.9 (K265FB/KQID-HD2), and Classic Hits K-Dixie (KRRV-HD2). With all of his professional success, he was most proud to be a father and grandfather. Tod is survived by his only son Tim Tucker, and wife Julie, grandsons Tagen Tucker and partner Brooklyn Frazier, Joshua Wright, Zakary Tucker and Christopher Tucker, father Bob Tucker and wife Cindy, sister Tamara Tucker, husband Robert

Davis, sister Jennifer Dennis, and husband Dominic, his beloved dog Dixie, and numerous other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, friends and listeners. Tod was preceded in death by mother Norma L. Tucker. Tod's end of shift, on air saying was: "I'm outta here! Remember, God loves you and I do too!"-Tod Tucker Funeral services for Tod will be conducted 2:00 p.m. August 19, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Noble Oklahoma with burial to follow. Visitation is from 3-7pm on August 18, 2021. In celebration of Tod's love for Sooner Nation, please wear your favorite OU apparel to the funeral.
