Ocala, Florida - Sara Lois Nunn, age 77, of Ocala, Florida passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at her daughter's home in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sara was born on May 10, 1948 in Falkner, Mississippi to Tas Lindsey and Opal Martindale Lindsey. Sara graduated from Falkner High School in 1966. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, and will be remembered for her warmth, hospitality, and unwavering love for her family. She enjoyed her retirement years in Florida playing golf and spending time with friends and family.

Sara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian Mathis (Madison) of Stuart, Florida, her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley Treiger (Joel) of Atlanta, Georgia, her stepdaughter, Angela Dragano (Glen) of Aiken, South Carolina; her grandchildren Austin Nunn (Amanda) of Columbus, Ohio, Evan and Sophia Hope of Atlanta, Georgia, Lawson Sedano (Joseph) of Troy, Alabama, and Jordan, Miles, and Mollie Mathis of Stuart, Florida; and two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Glenn E. Nunn, her parents, Tas E. and Opal Lindsey, her brothers Thomas and Daniel Lindsey, and her stepdaughter, Deborah Nunn.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 13th, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Candler Hills Lodge in the On Top of the World community in Ocala, Florida.
