Norman, Oklahoma - Olan Martin Todd was born to Ora and Mary (Curren) Todd on February 21, 1929 at Norman, Ok. He departed this life on April 8, 2022 at the Noble Health Care at the age of (93) years. He was a lifetime resident of Cleveland County. Mr. Todd graduated from Noble High School.

He and Helen Tullius were United in Marriage in (1950) in Norman. Mr. Todd was employed as a Printer with the Norman Transcript from (1949-1987) before his retirement. He and Helen were longtime members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Norman where Olan was a communion minister for many years. They were also members of St. Joseph's Golden Agers, which he helped form and led the group on many of their trips around the country. Mr. Todd had a green thumb that could grow almostanything. He enjoyed his flower and vegetable gardens and became a member of the first Master Gardeners organization in Cleveland County. He enjoyed square dancing and was past President for the Central District Square Dancing Association, with over 60 member clubs, from July 1961 to July 1962. He also served an officer in the Oklahoma State Square Dance Association. His most enjoyable memories were all of the train and world wide travels that he and Helen experienced together.

Those who preceded him in death include his Mother and Father, his Brother Orville Todd, and his Sister Dorothy Schneringer. Survivors include his Wife Helen of the home, Sister Mary Frances Henry, numerous Nieces and Nephews and many friends.

A Prayer Service and Visitation will be held Monday evening April 18th from 4-6pm at McMahans Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at 10:30am on Tuesday, April 19th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Norman, Ok. 211 N. Porter Av. followed by a reception. Interment with Naval Honor Guard will follow. Flowers are welcome. Other contributions in his memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
