Nettie June Covington Brockhaus
For the past 55 years, Nettie June Covington Brockhaus has been
a well-known and well-liked member of the Noble community. As
the owner of Brockhaus Flowers and Gifts, she helped countless
brides plan and enjoy their weddings and she was always there
for the families of loved ones who had passed away. Employees
of Brockhaus Flowers remember Nettie as a "Christmas celebrity,"
with customers looking forward to her annual Christmas open
house which inspired the start of the town Christmas celebration.
Nettie could make a meal in a flash, making a bologna sandwich
look like a gourmet meal. She was competitive at cards, and
loved OU football and attended many games, home and away.
Nettie and James loved to travel, especially with good friends and
family. Most important to Nettie was her family, and she made
each one feel special and loved.

Nettie was a wonderful lady who did my wedding many years ago. I also attended church with her and James in Noble and will always remember her kindness and true gentle and loving nature she had with everyone. My heart breaks for her family in this time of their grief.
