Norman, Oklahoma - Murelene McGetrick was born to Nathan L. and Minneola (Trueblood) Hart on September 6, 1929 at Norman, Ok. She departed this life on December 7, 2021 at Tecumseh, Ok. at the age of (92) years.

She graduated from the Norman High School. On July 2, 1946 she married the love of her life Mr. Walter McGetrick. Their marriage was for (70) years. They made their home in Norman before moving to Noble in (1978). Murelene was employed with Security Bank (Arvest) for (35) years. She and Walter were members of the Noble First Baptist Church for (40) years. They also attended the Adult Sunday School Class. Murelene enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Her favorite times were when the family was together and they enjoyed her home cooked food. The grandchildren were the light of her life. She held a special place in her heart for each one of them.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Walter, Son Walter McGetrick II, Sisters; Rita, Norm and Edie. Those who survive her include her (3) Daughters; Rita and Ernie Cory, Gayla and Rick McLin and Diana and Lee Bredbenner with many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
