Funeral services for Milburn C. "M.C." Steele, 88, of Edmond are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel. Steele was born May 18, 1919, in Brinkman. He died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, in Oklahoma City. Steele served in the U.S. Air Force and later retired from a civil service career with Tinker Air Force Base. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife, "D", of the home; his two sons, Larry and Verle "John" Steele; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
