Mary L. Semore Obituary

Mary L. Semore, of Norman, was born June 23, 1934, in Eufaula to Sam and Mary Clark Jennings and passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in Norman at the age of 79. She is survived by former husband, Enos Semore of Noble; one daughter, Janie Semore Biles and husband David of Norman; two sons, Enos Lee Semore and wife Sheryl of Norman and Scott Jennings Semore of Norman; five grandchildren, Jordan and Rance Semore and Jackson, Trinity and Jameson Biles; and four great-granddaughters. Mary was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Mette Semore. Mary was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Mette Semore. Mary graduated high school in Henderson, Texas. She got her undergraduate degree at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah and received her Master of Education at the University of Oklahoma. She was a teacher at Rose State College for more than 30 years. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Saturday at Mallory chapel in Stigler, with Mr. Dan Hughey officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory in Stigler. Pallbearers were Scott Semore, Jordan Semore, Rance Semore, Jackson Biles, Trinity Biles and Jameson Biles.
