Norman, Oklahoma - 71 year old, Margaret Ann Altman, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away August 25, 2021.

Marge was born on November 19, 1949, to LeRoy and Annie (Humphreys) Shipley, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Marge graduated from Rensselaer High School, and was a caregiver, decorator, homemaker, and adored her family. Marge loved to cook, enjoyed garage sales, adored family. She served her church faithfully, and participated in Outreach through the food pantry. She was once the head of the Norman Oklahoma Home School Association. Marge would open her home to anyone in need. An army of people will miss her, and she was a truly awesome person.

Marge is survived by her sons: Michael (Jennifer) Altman, and Thomas Altman, 1 grandson: Isaiah Altman, and siblings: Chuck (June) Motheral, LeRoy Shipley Jr., Bob (Marsha) Shipley, twin sister: Mary Jones, Linda (John) McBreyer, John (Penny) Shipley, Wanda (Jim) Chessor.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter: Melanie Altman.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Marge will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with Family and Friends officiating. Interment will follow at the Prater Cemetery.
