Plano, TX - Marcus (Marc) Lesly Weatherall, Sr. (94) of Plano,

Texas gained his wings on January 29, 2026. He was

born in Gilmer, Texas on July 5, 1931, to the late Mark Lesly and Grace Leah Weatherall. Marc was preceded in death by his sister Grace Muir and his wife of 52 years, Gloria Ann Weatherall. Marc grew up in Denver City, Texas where he worked summers in the oil field for Humble Oil and Refining. After graduating from Denver City High School in 1948, he continued his education and received his bachelor's degree from Midwestern University in 1955. Marc served 20+ years in the US Army, and retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1975. After retiring from the Army, Marc worked for Oklahoma State Employment Service, the Norman Chamber of Commerce, and Tinker Air Force Base. Upon his final retirement, Marc spent quite a bit of time travelling, sometimes even making sure the whole family got to go! Marc is survived by his wife of 8 years, Cindy Davis Weatherall; daughter Janet and Don Flegal of Little Rock, Arkansas, and their children Maddie and Connor; daughter Marci and Robert Sherburn of Richardson, Texas; son Marcus Jr. and Jamie Weatherall of Grapevine, Texas, and their daughter Lexi; sister Cathy and JD Lammons of Alpine, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws. Monday, February 9, Visitation 2pm, Memorial Service 3pm at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano, Texas. Final internment February 18, at the DFW National Cemetery.
