Norman, Oklahoma - Larry Joe Oliver, 85, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on May 24, 2025, near family and much love. He was born February 2, 1940, to Clarence and Mary (Ross) Oliver. He graduated from Norman High School and the University of Oklahoma. He then moved to Burlington, Iowa, where he taught art at James Madison Middle School for thirty-two years before retiring to Norman. He is remembered by wife Marie (Rutherford) Oliver, daughter Lisa (Oliver) Harrell, son Tony Oliver and his wife Laura (Nickols) Oliver, and grandsons Attlee, David, and Nathaniel Harrell.
