LaDonna Hardesty Obituary

Norman - LaDonna Hardesty, a lifelong resident of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in Norman on August 3, 1944, to George Vernon Haden and Thelma Ruby Haden, LaDonna spent her entire life woven into the fabric of the community she loved so dearly.

LaDonna was known for her sharp mind, meticulous organization, and dedicated work ethic. Over the years, she served her community through her work as a bookkeeper for PABB Personnel Company and later for the Norman Public School System, where her contributions supported countless local educators and students.

Beyond her professional life, LaDonna was an avid, passionate fan of the Oklahoma Sooners! Crimson and cream ran through her veins, and autumn Saturdays always found her cheering enthusiastically for her beloved OU team.

Above all, LaDonna's greatest devotion was to her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Delmer Hardesty; her daughter, Tracey Lane; her son, Chris Lane; and her cherished grandson, Andrew Moody. Her love, warmth, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her parents, George and Thelma Haden; her sister, Georgia Belle Barnard; her stepson, Eric Hardesty; and her step-grandson, Ransom Hardesty.
