Jewell "Jenice" Hager, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and educator, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on January 14, 1950, in Oklahoma City, she was the cherished daughter of Wallace and Addie Hodges and a devoted sister to her brother, David Hodges. She graduated from U.S. Grant High School in 1968, where she was a great student and homecoming queen.


Jenice pursued her passion for education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1972. She began her career teaching at Sky Ranch Elementary in Moore, Oklahoma, where she touched the lives of many young students with her kindness and dedication. However, her greatest joy came from her role as a full-time stay-at-home mom, where she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her and Bo's sons, Jeremy and Jeff.


Family was the cornerstone of Jenice's life. She embraced her daughters-in-law, Nicole and Morgan, with open arms, and her love extended to her grandchildren, Hudson, Blaire, Jax, Tate, and Olive, with whom she shared countless cherished moments. Her warmth and generosity also enriched the lives of her brother David, sister-in-law Janice, nephew Jason, and niece Amber.


Jenice was known for her self-sacrificial nature, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her kindness and unwavering support left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire her family and friends.


Jewell "Jenice" Hager will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, and selflessness. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be remembered and cherished by all.
