Norman, Oklahoma - Jerry Whistler Snow died April 21 at her home, The Gardens at Rivermont Assisted Living Center. Jerry was born in Norman on August 22, 1941, the middle child of Rex and Helen Whistler. She has been a resident of Norman her entire life and graduated from the University of Oklahoma and received a Masters degree in History. Jerry had retired from the Alumni Foundation department at University of Oklahoma after years of service. Jerry was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Rex Whistler, Helen Whistler, Jack Whistler, Alex Whistler, and her husband, Dr. Clyde Snow, as well as her beloved sister in-law Patti Whistler. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Susan K. Whistler of Santa Rosa California, Sarah A. Whistler of Studio City California, James B. Whistler of Norman Oklahoma, JerryLynne Whistler of Long Beach, California, Leslie Whistler Wieczorek of Beauvals, France; Rex Whistler of Portland Oregon, step-daughter Mindy Snow of Norman Oklahoma and Paula Whistler of Gresham Oregon. Jerry is also survived by five great nieces and nephews. Jerry's favorite hobbies included needlepoint, Bridge, reading, genealogy, hosting dinner parties especially at Thanksgiving and spending time throughout her life with her beloved dogs. Jerry has many beloved friends and "adopted" family throughout the world.

Per Jerry's wishes, there will not be a memorial service and at a later date, Jerry's ashes will be spread at Twin Lakes Colorado; a family vacation area for many Whistler generations.
