Oklahoma City, OK - With profound love and sorrow we announce the loss of our beloved son, Jared Lee

Hoskinds in early January of 2026 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jared was born May 29,

1990 on Lakenheath Air Force Base in Suffolk, England. Jared will be remembered as

someone who loved making people laugh. Jared enjoyed singing silly songs, and he was

never shy about expressing his faith in Jesus and that faith gave him purpose, steadiness

and a deep compassion for others. A tradesman at heart, Jared took pride in working with

his hands. He was involved in electrical work, construction projects, and anything that

allowed him to build or fix things. Jared graduated from Norman High School in 2008. He is

survived by his mother, Macy Compton; stepfather, Bruce Compton; father, Jeff Hoskinds;

grandmother, Linnadean Smith; and siblings, Tara Stephens and husband Justin Stephens,

Stacy Swope and Shelly Lewis and husband Carter Lewis. There will be a celebration of life

for Jared in the spring in Norman.
