Jane Ellen "Janie" McIntosh, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 22, 2025, at 76. Born on April 3, 1948, in Tulsa, OK, she was the eldest daughter of Bob Robertson and Alma Lambert.
Janie worked 15 years for Norman Public Schools, impacting countless students and forming lasting friendships. She moved to Okinawa in 1996 to be with her daughter and earn a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, later completing her Master's in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
She is survived by her daughters, Nicole McIntosh (Christopher Welniak) and Jennifer McIntosh (Leslie Rhodes), grandson Tyler Bone, sisters Bobbie Rhyne (Gary) and Paula Woods (Larry), and brother David Robertson (Gail). She was preceded in death by her parents and two nieces.
