Norman, OK - With hearts full of both sorrow and hope, we announce that Jamie Miskelly Wright entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, July 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on May 17, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jamie was the beloved daughter of John Miskelly Jr. and Betty Miskelly. She lived a life marked by compassion, generosity, unwavering faith, and love for her family. She faithfully served the City of Norman for many years, where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and willingness to help others.

Jamie delighted in yard sales and thrift stores, always finding beauty in forgotten treasures. Her greatest treasures, however, were her family. She was a devoted mother to Lindsey and Laura and a loving grandmother to Brynnleigh, Aiden, and Eliott, celebrating every milestone and making each feel deeply loved.

Even through cancer, Jamie's courage and steadfast faith inspired those around her and reminded us to grieve with hope.
