Norman, OK - Adopted in infancy following his mother's death, Jim was born in southwestern Oklahoma to Clarence and Julia Shores. Most of his childhood was spent in Norman. He lived in the Dallas, TX area from 1969-1978, then moved back to Norman, until he passed away at Saint Ann's in Oklahoma City, his residence for the final 16 months of his life. Jim was very popular there, having lots of friends, making people laugh, encouraging and praying with others. He is survived by daughters Carri Rohlmeier, Kristina Reinish, and Amanda Harvey, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was laid to rest at IOOF.
