Graveside services for Jacob Ray "J.R. Donnell, 76, of Edmond are scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond. Arrangements are under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home of Edmond. Donnell was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Luther. He died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, in Midwest City. Donnell was a Korean War veteran and served on the custodial staff of Oklahoma Christian University. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elsie Donnell; and his brother, Frankie Donnell. Survivors include his niece, Linda McSharry; grand-nephew, Brett McGlasson and great-grand-nephew, Miles McGlasson, all of Las Vegas, Nev. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a veterans group of your choice.
