Gwendolyn Cleo "Moody" Williamson was born December 23, 1933 in Washington, OK. She attended school at Washington and graduated in 1951. Gwen married Andy Williamson at the Noble First Baptist Church Parsonage on May 31, 1950. She began working in 1961 and worked at the Oklahoma Geological Survey from 1966 - 1995.

Gwen enjoyed collecting antique dishes and toys, she was a Longaberger Basket Sales Representative for 20+ years and has a huge collection of baskets. She enjoyed University of Oklahoma sporting events, Thunder basketball, water sports, and most of all she enjoyed the company and many interests of her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew "Andy" Williamson; her parents William Cleo "Skeet" and Jewell Moody; her daughter Marilyn D. Chance; and grandchildren Erica Lynn "Dover" Carpenter and Stephen Michael Dover.

Survivors include three daughters and their husbands: Donna and David McCrory, Debra and Michael Dover, and Cynthia and Michael Thornhill, all of Noble; and one son William Andrew "Drew" Williamson and wife Lizette, Oklahoma City; and son-in-law Michael Chance, The Woodlands, Texas; one sister Colleen Waggoner, Washington; seven grandchildren Andrea Dover- Whisman; Kevin McCrory; Maegen Dover; Kristal "McCrory"; Matthew Thornhill; Megan "Chance" Jensen; Mason Chance; and fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and a large extended family and friends.

Family and Friends Visitation - Friday, February 18 from 5 - 7 p.m. and Funeral - Saturday, February 19 at 3:00 p.m. at McMahans Funeral Home, 616 S. Eighth Street, Noble. Arranged and directed by McMahans Funeral Home of Noble, OK.
