Norman, Oklahoma - Eloy Mohammad Bokhari, age 20, a resident of Norman, Oklahoma, went home to our Lord and Savior in Norman, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Even though his passing was sudden, Eloy passed knowing how much he was loved, listening to music he enjoyed and was greeted by our loving God and Savior, Jesus Christ and his loving grandma, Rose Clair Bokhari. He was baptized at St. Joseph's Church in Norman, Oklahoma, and graduated from St. Mary Catholic School. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, and cousin. He loved being with his family and friends, loved the outdoors, fishing and walking his dog Oreo. He loved Boy Scouts and his favorite campout was Trappers. Eloy loved playing basketball with his friends, enjoyed playing on the Rugby team with his friends at OU, and loved living in the moment.

Eloy's bond with his sister was like no other, and he loved her so much. Eloy's' first love was his loving and gracious mother, Yvonne!! Yvonne taught Eloy so many things but most importantly taught him what true love was. Eloy knew without a doubt how much he was loved by all but especially by his father, Khalid. Eloy especially loved his girlfriend, Sami, and spending time with her enjoying the little moments. Eloy's growth as a loving and God fearing man grew each year especially the past couple years much thanks to his best friend, Matthew. He loved having deep conversations with Mathew, the one person who truly understood Eloy and got to see his personal growth.

Eloy's love for fashion and need for community grew over the years and helped shape who he was. He was a Junior at The University of Oklahoma and a free spirit at heart who loved music of all kinds, loved learning the guitar and most of all, loved his family and friends.

Eloy was preceded in death by his grandma, Rose Bokhari. He is survived by his parents, Khalid Bokhari and Yvonne Hernandez; and his sister, Samantha Bokhari. His aunts, uncles and cousins as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 6:00pm until the Rosary Service at 7:00pm, at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:00am, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Norman. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
