Norman, OK - Donald Raymond Dragg, 79, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on October 9, 2025. Born in Houston, Texas, he grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Harding High School in 1964. He earned a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Oklahoma and served 13 years in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Major.


During his military career, Don served as an instructor at West Point and later taught ROTC at OU. While serving overseas in South Korea, Don met the love of his life, Kyong. At the end of his deployment, they returned together to Norman, Oklahoma and began building their life, sharing 50 years of marriage.


He is survived by his wife, Kyong Dragg; his children, Jennifer (David) Kubinsky, Matthew (Taylor) Dragg, and Morgan (Alex) Tucker; his grandchildren, Eli, Liam, Dean, Meredith, and Lyla; and his brother, Kenneth (Diane) Dragg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey and David Dragg.


Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 15, from 5-7 PM at Tribute Memorial Care, with a funeral service Thursday, October 16, at 9 AM, followed by burial at 1 PM at Fort Sill National Cemetery. Don will be remembered for his faith, joy, and the love he shared with all who knew him.


Arrangements for Don and his family have been placed in the care of Tribute Memorial Care, 4300 West Indian Hills Road, Norman, OK.
