Professor Middleton was such a great person. I was fortunate to have taken two of his classes at Rose State College. He will be greatly missed but his legacy will live on as the best Organic Chem Professor!

I worked with Dawcett at Rose State. His office was right next door to mine. I can’t imagine going back to work without him being there. He was a brilliant chemist with such a kind and gentle soul. Dawcett truly had the light of God within him. I am a better person for knowing him. And so is every other person who had the privilege of knowing him. Dawcett was a remarkable person who made this world a better place. I refer to people like Dawcett as earth angels.

To Dawcett’s family. I was alarmed and saddened when I read about the passing of Dawcett. I worked with Dawcett at Rose State and developed a strong friendship with him. He was a very intelligent man and I knew I could depend on his opinion during times of turmoil. His passing has left a void in my world and he will be greatly missed. He was a kind and gentle person and was respected by all who knew him.
May God be with you all.

Trudy and all members of Dawcett's family.
We are very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad and difficult time.
During the 40 years we have known Dawcett, he often shared memories and photographs of each one of you. It was so obvious that he loved you all and valued being a part of your lives.
One of many things that I will miss about Dawcett is his gift of listening. He was not only able to make me feel important to him, but he was also able to gently make me see both the good and the bad of my concern.
