Charley Euell "C.E." White, 88, of Sulphur died Saturday, Aug. 6, at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur. Services were Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Sulphur with the Rev. William E. Malphrus officiating. Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur. Krien Funeral Home in Sulphur handled arrangements. Mr. White was born Aug. 12, 1916, in Megargel, Texas, to Charley Hill and Mary Melinda (Steele) White. He married Bobbie Denson April 3, 1940, in Norman. He began his career in 1935 delivering milk for Meadow Gold Milk Company in Oklahoma City. He operated C.E. White Trucking Company from 1954-70. Mr. White is survived by his wife Bobbie White of the home; son Charles White and wife Reba of Sulphur; daughter Linda Woodfin and husband David of Norman; brother Travis White of Georgetown, Texas; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
