Norman, Oklahoma - Billy Joe Williams was born to Scott and Gaynell (Davis) Williams on February 1, 1950 at Pauls Valley, Ok. He departed this life on November 21, 2021 at the Norman Regional Healthplex at the age of (71) years.
Billy moved to Norman with his family and attended school at the Norman High School. He entered the U.S. Marine Corp on October 14, 1968. He received an Honorable Discharge as Corporal on April 24, 1970 after his tour to Vietnam. While there he received the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device, the Vietnam Service medal w/1* and the Marksman Badge. He remained in the Marine Corps Reserve Forces Class III until released on August 7, 1974. Billy was employed with Ben E. Keith as a truck driver for (17) years before his retirement. He was also employed with Tyler Simpson, Pepsico, and the University of Oklahoma. Billy bowled in different leagues in Norman, being and excellent bowler he was a member of the National Bowling Congress. He enjoyed deer henting, fishing, trips to the Casino and was an avid O.U. Fan.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, (2) Brothers; Scott Jr. and Earl Ray, Sister Bobbie Nell Johnson. Those who survive him include his Wife Ima of the home, Brother Barry Williams, Sister Fran Woods, Sisters and Brothers-in-law; Patsy and Wayne Cline, Linda Christy, Rita and R.A. Cline, Norman and David Christian, Tammy Rollins, Ron and Sheila Rollins, Nola and Kenny Moore and Bob and Debbie Rollins, numerous Nieces and Nephews and other relatives and friends.

Noble IOOF Cemetery, 1585 S. Main, Noble, Ok.
