Norman, OK - Betty J. Johnson (BJ) of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 99. BJ was born on October 24, 1926, in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She was a loving mother and avid Sooner football fan who lived a beautiful life of courage, wit, and faith. BJ is survived by her brother, James Brunoldi and his wife Elaine of Tulsa, Oklahoma and their families; her children, Barbara McNatt and her husband Dan, James Johnson, and Christina Easley, all of Norman, Oklahoma; and her four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 28, at John Ireland Funeral Home in Moore, OK.
