Bessie "Carolyn" Grayson Obituary

Bessie "Carolyn" Grayson was born to Ernest Bell and Alma

Lorene (Mauldin) Willis on March 2, 1934 at Smyer, Texas. Soon after she and her family moved back to Oklahoma and she resided in Noble, Ok. the rest of her (87) years.

Carolyn completed her entire education in Noble and graduated from Noble High. During her High School years she met a new student from Washington, Ok. named Travis Grayson. They were United in Marriage on October 4, 1952 at the Noble First Baptist Church where she attended her whole life. Carolyn followed in her Father and Mother's footsteps and began working in the Noble Post Office at the age of (18) and becoming the Postmaster before her retirement after (37) years. They lived in the same house in town for over (50) years before Travis talked her into moving to the farm where she spent the last (13) years of her life. Carolyn was a Christian and loved the Lord. She was a giving person that loved to help people. She loved her family and always put them first. Her giving ways spilled over to her Grandchildren and caring for them. In her time on the farm she enjoyed her flower beds, feeding the hummingbirds, working puzzles and watching Hallmark movies.

Those who preceded her include her Parents, Husband Travis, Daughter Penny and Son-in-law Gloyd McCoy. Survivors include (2) Sons; Richard and Alecia Grayson and Howell and Jennifer Grayson, Sister Rita Smith, (10) Grandchildren, (5) Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.`
