On December 29, 2016 the great Angel known as Sissey Ann Hall passed from this world.
Sissey was an invaluable light and support to individuals with special needs and their families.
As a caregiver, she was a living blessing to her clients, spreading joy and becoming family to all of those whose homes she entered. Although she will be greatly missed by family, friends and the community of caregivers, she will always remain a light in this world for those who still remain.
Sissey was a person of great faith in God and her Guardian Angels. She faced death fearlessly after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. After her passing, those who knew and loved her could imagine, through their tears, her saying Wow! and Woo Hoo! at the joy and beauty she was experiencing as she was escorted Home by the Angels. Sissey is now one of those sweet protective angels who has finally received her wings.
Sissey was born in Stuttgart, Germany on April 18, 1956. As a child, Sissey and her family moved to Baltimore, Maryland. When she was 8 years old, she came to Oklahoma to live with her grandparents, Myra and Dick Hall. She was proceeded in death by her parents Edward Henry Hall and Lisa Hall, and by her aunts Marqueta and Annette Hall. She is survived by her brother, Dick Henry Hall; her uncle, Richard M. Hall; her aunt, Iris Hall; cousins Jeffrey Hall, Brett Hall, Nancy Hall Cardenas, Deborah Hall Scarlett, and Alice Hall Cobb; and a host of second cousins. A celebration of Sisseys life with her extended family is planned for July 4th. A private memorial and gathering for friends and loved ones will be held on January 22nd in Norman; for more information, call 405.596.5823.
Sissey will rest in peace with her parents and grandparents in Wetumka, Oklahoma.
