Laurence Alan Stubblefield passed away March 2, 2017 at the age of 69. Larry proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War as a member of the 509th Engineering Brigade. After the war, Larry fulfilled his dream of becoming an architect and spent the next 40+ yrs designing many of the structures you see every day. Those structures include the new firehouses in Moore, the Hitachi plant in Norman and many others, He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Larry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharleen; 3 children, Mindy, Suzanne & husband, Bill, and Laurence A. Stubblefield II & wife, Grace; 8 grandchildren, Jasmine, Monica, Alana, Samantha, Hunter, Kassidy, Callie and baby boy on-the-way; 2 great-grandchildren, Antonio and Tristan and a host of other loving family members and friends. Funeral Services for Larry will be held at 10:30am, Wednesday, March 8th, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Norman.
