Jimmy H. Morrow, 84, of Norman passed away Monday July 3, 2017 at Norman Regional Healthplex with his family by his side.
He was born January 4, 1933 in Norman to Buck and Willie Wall Morrow. On September 9, 1955 in Norman he married Ola Mae McGehee. They would have celebrated 62 years of marriage this year.
Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Army and National Guard for a combined 35 years of service. He was a one of a kind man. He loved to travel especially to Colorado to see the mountains and to Branson. He competed in many bowling leagues and tournaments. He enjoyed watching Nascar, football and tinkering and building things. Above all he loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years: Ola Mae; sons: Dennis (Donna) Morrow of Noble, Bobby Morrow of Noble; grandchildren: Tanya Garvin of Norman, Jeff (Amy) Morrow of Norman and their family, Brandon Morrow of Noble, Shayla Morrow of Keller, TX; great-grandchildren: Destiny Nicewander, Madison Garvin, Athena Sue Morrow; brother: Major (Loveta) Morrow; nieces: Michelle Williams and Terri Morrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Kenneth Morrow and nephew: Ronnie Morrow.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. with family greeting friends Thursday July 6, 2017 at Primrose Funeral Service. The funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday July 7, at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at the Fairview Maguire Cemetery in Noble. Pastor Philip Johnson will officiate.
