Wanda's Story

Wanda was born March 29, 1964 in Gardner, Kansas to Bert "Sonnie" and Charlotte Bell. Wanda spent her childhood in Kansas. In 1979, Wanda moved to Enid Oklahoma where she graduated from Enid High School in 1982. Wanda met the love of her life, Linus Burshik and was married on June 24th, 1986 She later moved to Washington, Oklahoma and worked as a Walmart Associate for many years.

Wanda loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She treasured spending time with family and friends, always making sure to bring deviled eggs to all events even though she was allergic to mustard. Wanda also loved Diet Dr. Pepper, Coors Light, loud country music, and dancing. Not necessarily in that order.

Wanda two-stepped her way into heaven where she was reunited with her parents, Bert "Sonnie" and Charlotte Bell, and infant brother Sonnie James Bell. Wanda is survived by her husband of 30 years, Linus of Washington, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her daughter, Kristina Burshik of Washington, Oklahoma; daughter April Burshik and Michael Honigsberg II of Enid, Oklahoma; son David Burshik and husband Rocky Wehling, residing in Edmond, Oklahoma. Other survivors include her sister Bonita McMullen and husband Kevin of Enid, Oklahoma; her brother Terry Bell Sr. and wife Shirley of Washington, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Madyson, Emma, Katelyn, Mackynze, Oakley, and Michaelynn ; two nieces, Stacey and Candy; two nephews, Derrick and Terry; many other relatives and friends.
