Thomas David Kay, 58, passed away on March 1, 2018. Thomas was born on October 12, 1959 to David Clifford Kay and Helen Elizabeth Bickford in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Norman High School in 1977. Thomas owned his own business, Kustom Craft Remodeling. He was very talented as he put his special touch on his projects and house remodeling work. He loved animals and loved being with his family. His nieces and nephews describe him as a fantastic and funny uncle. Thomas managed The Black Sheep Softball Team for over 5 years.
Thomas is survived by his parents, David Kay, Helen Bickford & husband Paul; Siblings, Tim Kay & Wife Sharon, Julie Simon & fiance Mike Quary; Nieces, Kirstin McIntyre & husband John, Melissa Simon, Kendra Synowsky, and Rose Cypret; great nephews, Jaden McIntyre, Caleb McIntyre, and Maxwell McIntyre; step siblings, Rebecca Davis & husband Bill, Dianna Miller & husband Stacy, Tammy Lenox, Christpher Bickford & wife Karen.
Thomas is preceded in death by his grandparents, Darrell & Vena Koehler, Clifford Kay, and Helen Kay; sister, Deborah Kay; uncle, James Kay; step mother, Katie Kay.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 4:00 P.M at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway Ave, Moore, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Tom's honor to Second Chance Animal Rescue or Life Springs Hospice.
