Larry Hawkins went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 4, 1945 on the family farm south of Noble to Frank and Nora Hawkins. He was the seventh of eight children. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, brothers George and Dave, his first wife Lou Carol Hopper Willis. He is survived by wife Gail and children Cheri Lehnertz (Jack), Dustin Hawkins (Misty), Stacy Lovins (Earl) and step daughter Jere' Capps (David), Brothers and Sisters; Harry Hawkins (Nancy), Alice Greeson (Bill) and Fannie Jones (Sam), Grandchildren; Ashley, Ryan, Justin, Kadie, Jaylee, Garrett, Jakey, Ashleigh and Rylie, Great Grandchildren; Makayla and Taylor and many Neices and Nephews, and his second wife Janice Holsanbake Tusen.
Larry was the son of a sharecropper family and worked on the family farm. He was a graduate from the Noble High School Class of (1963). He moved to Texas in (1986) and in (1990) married his wife Gail. For many years he was manager of the Autobaun Motor Company in Ft. Worth.
Larry was truly a one of a kind person. He loved people and even more loved to make them laugh. He was an avid fisherman and spent a lot of time outdoors. Cooking was his passion. He loved spending time and telling stories with his family. He touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 12:00pm Saturday, January 28th at McMahans Funeral Chapel
INTERMENT: Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, Ok.
