Theresa Joan Griffin Groce Theresa Joan Griffin Groce, 65, of Noble passed away Monday August 6, 2018 at Noble Healthcare Center with her family by her side.
She was born September 5, 1952 to Homer Edward and Helen Ann (Jaglowski) Griffin. She married Larry Groce in August of 1980.
Theresa enjoyed bird watching, animals, reading, tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She loved to cheer on her OU Sooners. She was big supporter of pets and people. People knew her as kind hearted and a spoiler. She never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. She retired from Sam's Club after over 20 years of service.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Larry; son: Darren and wife Jaymi Groce; grandchildren: Thomas Ball and Samantha and husband Mitchell Cox; great-grandchild: Nero Cox; siblings: Edward and wife Martha Griffin, Patricia and husband Don Gonzales, Gloria and husband Jon Jansing, Angela and husband Kevin Lesley, Anna Griffin, Kristina and husband Blaine Taylor, John and wife Denise Griffin as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; children: Rodney Groce, Andrea Groce; siblings: Michael Griffin, Thomas John Griffin, Barbara Ann Griffin; niece: Allison Gonzales.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel, Norman, OK. In honor of Theresa please wear OU attire or colors; no suits or ties.
In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite animal shelter.
The family would like to give special thanks to Oklahoma Hospice Care, Noble Healthcare Center and Visiting Angels for all their support during this time.
