Steven Michael Morren Steven Michael "Captain" Morren , 47, passed away of heart complications at home on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
He was born on July 21, 1970, in Monterey, California to Debbie McDaniel and Kenneth Morren. He was a 1988 graduate of Norman High School where he learned his love of football. Steven worked towards being his own boss since the day he could walk. He achieved his goal in 2005, when he started his own survey company Survey Solutions Inc. His passion and love for Oklahoma University football was like no other. He has been the Captain of the N-Zone crew, his tailgate family since 1997. The only thing more important than OU football was his family and friends. If you were a friend of Steven's, you were friends for life.
Steven's dogs, Rocky and Missy were his pride and joy.
Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Emma Morren and George and Bonnie Lamprecht and Rocky.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie Lamprecht McDaniel and husband Gene, Father Kenneth Morren and wife Debra Morren, brother Dennis Morren and family, sister Emily Morren Watt and family, sister Alicia Cardenas and family, brother Gary McDaniel, sister Sherri McDaniel and Missy.
He will be tremendously missed by family, friends and OU fans.
Visitation with family will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday January 12, 2018 at Primrose Funeral Service. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday January 13, 2018 at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery. Pastor Brent Hardesty will officiate.
