Ronald P. Rytlewski, born November 1, 1934, was a life-long resident of Bay City, Michigan. He attended Handy High School and was in the graduating Class of 1952. After graduation he joined the National Guard, Med Co 125th Inf. Location: Armory - Bay City Michigan. Whilst serving in the Nat'l Guard he started working for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. His many duties were working on the bottling line, driving a semi-truck for delivery, and finishing as maintenance supervisor in 1972. In between all this he met the love of his life, Rose Marie Witucki, wife of 61 years. Shortly after they wed, son Brian Rytlewski was born, followed by his sister, Valerie Rytlewski McAuliffe. Ron was Honorably Discharged from the Nat'l Guard in 1959 as Specialist Second Class. Moving on from the Coca-Cola Bottling company of 21 years, he took on a position as head maintenance for Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw, Michigan. Finally, Ron hit his dream job in 1973 as a Journeyman Millwright for Bay City Chevrolet. Ron loved his job and the many friends he made at the plant. He enjoyed pulling prank jokes on his friends; they were his family away from home. Ron retired from the Chevy plant in 1995. His journey in life led him and wife Rose to reside in Arizona, then on to Oklahoma. There he spent the rest of his days with family and loved ones, and left to be with our Lord on October 2, 2018. Ron always loved to take his family camping. He loved hunting and fishing as well, especially pheasant and partridge. Ron always made sure to have his son, Brian, and trusted hunting partner, dog Duke, with him. In 1984, Ron sadly had to say goodbye to Duke, but always kept a picture of him nearby.
