Louis Bernard Fetter Jr., 86, of Purcell passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was born August 6, 1931 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Louis Bernard and Margaret (Shearer) Fetter. Louis married the love of his life, Norma Armstrong in 1980.
Louis joined the United States Navy in 1951 where he made two trips around the world and retired in December of 1970 after 22 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict. Louis was also a Mason and had worked at Westinghouse from its opening until they closed their doors. He also worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 10 years .
Left to cherish Louis memories are his six children: David Fetter and wife Cindy, Michael Fetter, Mark Fetter and wife Elisabeth, Susan and husband Stavros Vavouyios, Kris and husband Daryl Mullins, James Fetter and wife Julia; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; step -children: Ann and husband Keith Beard, Michael Armstrong and wife Nancy, Kenneth Armstrong and wife Cindy; 8 step-grandchildren and 10 step - great- grandchildren; and his loving companion and dog, Moose.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma and parents; his brother, Ronald Fetter; and his grandson, John Buckmaster.
