Linda Kay Judah, 60, of Norman, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 21, 2017 after a nine month, hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born on October 17, 1957 in San Diego, California to Clarence Babe Nicewander and Madeline Avsharian Nicewander.
Lin grew up in San Diego attending Monte Vista High School. She worked in the Law Department at the University of San Diego. She married Monte Judah in 1977. The Judahs moved many times from California to Colorado, back to California, and finally to Oklahoma in 1992. She also served as a Vice President in the Newcomers Club of Norman and in various neighborhood welcoming committees.
She formed Lion and Lamb Ministries with her husband in 1995, where she served as an administrator, assistant director, and board member. Through this work, she organized multiple congregations, conferences, youth camps, and other events. She excelled at interior design, cake decorating, creative party planning, gardening, and remembering everyones name. Her family will always remember her for her honesty, high expectations, love of neighbors and nametags, perfect grammar, bright smile, and spontaneous songs.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Monte Judah, sister Barbara Sappington, brother Bob Nicewander, daughter Ann Stropes, son Ephraim Judah, five grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Babe, mother Madeline, and her niece Ellen Cheshelski.
