Kenneth J. Robertson was born at home east of Norman on February 25, 1930, to Samuel and Eleanor (Maples) Robertson. He entered eternal life July 7, 2018, at age of 88 years. He married Mary Lou Black on June 7, 1952. He is survived by hs wife of the home; a son, Kenny Paul and wife, Sherol; daughter, Becky Robertson; granddaughter, Sammie Robertson; two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Cameron Koch; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Pomering; and many relatives and friends. Kenneth lied about his age to join the Army after World War II. He built custom homes, businesses, and churches around the Cleveland County area. He loved raising cattle, and even tamed a few so we could milk them in the pasture. Kenneth loved growing native prairie grass hay. He loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was the happiest if he was outdoors. He was a Christian and a faithful member of the Noble First Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading his bible and western novels. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Sam; sister, Ernestine and husband, Bill Carver; sister, Helen and husband, Kenneth Weeden. Memorial services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Noble First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Noble First Baptist Church or the American Heart Association. Services are provided by John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
