Kelli Marie Caldwell lived a joy-filled life on her own terms and though it was short, she would consider it full. She passed away on January 4, 2018.
Kelli was born on July 27, 1981 in Oklahoma City and was the middle child of three children. She spent her childhood in Norman and graduated from Norman North High School in 2001.
Kelli was dependable and smart. She was caring and creative. She liked to sketch and would crochet anything that came into her mind. She enjoyed life and doing things most girls would not enjoy, like turkey hunting, rebuilding carburetors, or fixing anything needed. Whether she was gardening, or disassembling a fence for reuse, it didn't matter to her, as long as it was outside. She did not take time for granted and in her last years created many fond memories that will last our lifetimes.
Kelli fought a long, hard battle with cancer, her fists swinging the whole time. Her optimism inspired family and caregivers that assisted in the battle with her. She loved them with all of her heart and was still able to encourage them every chance she got.
Kelli is survived by her daughter Jessi Caldwell, her son John Caldwell, her mother Lois Clubb, her father Mike Clubb and wife Terrie and daughter Susan, her sister Jennifer Clubb, her brother Brian Clubb and wife Stacey and children Matthew and Mallory, her grandmother Dorethea Northcutt, her boyfriend Todd Rollins, her ex-husband Roy Caldwell and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that love and will miss her dearly. Kelli is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Dorothy and Frank Burns, paternal great-grandfather Roy Clubb, paternal grandfather Bear Clubb, and cousin Greg Taylor.
