Jerry Lee Kilgore
Jerry always had a passion for horses and rodeo. He spent his early rodeo years competing as a calf roper and then later switched to team roping where he was a heeler. In 1960 Jerry and Ms. Anita Faye Goode were united in marriage. While rodeo was Jerry and Anita's life, Jerry also owned and operated Kilgore Machine and Tool Co. in Oklahoma City and Anita was a bookkeeper for Custer & Custer Livestock Commission Co.
Jerry and Anita moved from Moore to Lexington and built a home where they resided until their passing. Jerry was a very well known and respected man throughout his community and professions. He was always able to ensure a good laugh and smile with every encounter. Jerry was a loved father and always took great pride in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His mother, father, and wife preceded him in death. Jerry is survived by his daughter Jamie Kilgore of Oklahoma City, his son Kyle Kilgore and wife Paula of Lexington, grandchildren; Jason Felton and wife Krystal, Jenna Gillum and husband Josh, Justin Kilgore, and Shawn Kilgore, great-grandchildren; Easton Felton, Charlotte Gillum, Cori Lee Gillum, and numerous friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
