Jack L Pounds Jack Pounds was born to Harvey and Myrtle (Hanson) Pounds on December 6, 1938 at Morganville, Kansas. He departed this life on November 17, 2018 at his home. In Noble. He graduated from High School in Cortland, Kansas. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy
Jack and Jonnie Hill were United in Marriage on March 23, 1985 in Ok. City, Ok. Their marriage was for 33 years. They made their home in Midwest City while Jack was employed at Tinker Air Force Base as a machinist until his retirement. He was then employed with Dolese Brothers in Ok. City in the maintenance dept. for 8 years until his health failed and he retired again. In November, 2006 he and Jonnie moved to Noble, Ok. where he resided until his death.
Jack was a sports enthusiast of all kinds. He coached his son Randy's little league baseball team until he reached High School. Jack enjoyed fishing but his passion was sports. His television was always on a sports channel no matter what type.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and 4 Brothers; Harold, Bob, Delton and Jimmy. Those who survive him include his Wife Jonnie of the home, his Son Randy Pounds and wife Kelly, his Daughter Jackee Ramirez and husband Dominic of Yukon, a Brother Steve Pounds of Cortland, Kansas, a Sister Mary Conaway of Hutchinson, Kansas, 4 Grandchildren; Tiffany, Kylee, Shawn and Nick, 7 Great Grandchildren; Kyler, Kiran, Kashtyn, Kaiden, Korbin, Kloey and Tysun with many other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
VISITATION HOURS: 4:00pm-7:00pm Friday, November 23rd
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00pm Saturday, November 24th at Maguire Baptist Church, 9801 Maguire Rd., Noble, Ok.
INTERMENT: Noble IOOF Cemetery with U.S. Navy Honor Guard
