Gerald's Story

Gerald David Turner was born to Jack and Izola (Baker) Turner on June 16, 1943 in Amarillo, Tx. He departed this life on January 13th at Mercy Hospital at the age of 73 years.
Mr. Turner graduated from Paladuro High School in Amarillo, Tx. with the Class of 1962. He and Linda Kay Grace were United in Marriage on December 28, 1962 in Amarillo, Tx. Their marriage was for 54 years.
At the age of 22 years old Mr. Turner became employed with the AT&T Co. as a Technician. At the age of 62 Mr. Turner retired with 39 years of service. He and Linda made their home in Noble, Ok. moving from North Richland Hills, Tx. in 1984.
Mr. Turner enjoyed being a Ham Radio Operator during his spare time making friends around the world for many years.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Brother Jimmy Turner. Those who survive him include a Son and his Wife Dustin and Marissa Turner of Bridgecreek, Ok., a Grandson Braxton Turner, 3 Sisters; June Stone, Wanda Hilburn (Milt) and Darlene Knight (Jack), numerous Nieces and Nephews and other relatives and friends.
VISITATIONS HOURS: 10:00am-12:00pm Wednesday, January 18th at the Noble Assembly of God Church, 100 E. Post Oak Rd, Noble, Ok.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00pm Wednesday, January 18th at the Noble Assembly of God Church
INTERMENT: Noble IOOF Cemetery
