Elaine's Story

Elaine Meiser was born to Louis and Alberta (Feuerborn) Meiser on October 10, 1943 at the family home in Norman. She departed this life on May 29, 2017 at the age of 73 at the Norman Healthplex.
Elaine was a lifetime resident of Cleveland County and graduated from Norman High School. She was a faithful lifelong member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering and was a member of the St. Joe's Womens Club. She was voted as Woman of the year. Elaine was employed with the J.D. McCarty Center as a supervisor cook for 20 years before her retirement.
She loved to cook for her family and special occasions, collecting lighthouses, enjoyed reading and spending time with her Nieces and Nephews. Those who preceded her in death include her Parents and 2 Brothers; Bill and Gerald Meiser. She is survived by her 2 Sisters; Shirley Matthews of Mont Clair, Ca. and Barbara Wells and of Norman, numerous Nieces and Nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Wake Services: 7:00 pm Friday June 2nd, McMahans Funeral Chapel, Noble, OK.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30am Saturday, June 3rd, St. Josephs Catholic Church Chapel, 421 E. Acres, Norman, OK.
Interment: St Josephs Catholic Cemetery, Norman, OK.
