Biddle99, was the signature on the weather condition texts. I was honored to be on that thread of notifications. "Hazmatt" was my friend. We discussed weather, children, medical procedures and who was going to be able to help him get from point A to wherever he wanted to be. What an intelligent mind Matt was blessed with. Conversations with Matt, were like talking to a humorous or humerus (pun intended) encyclopedia. In spite of the Proteus he was tough. He loved his "Faithy" and his Family. So think of "Hazmatt" with the weather alerts, and find a good home for his Hockey Jersey collection. . Frosty and I just drove by a sign that read, South Canadian River last week. We had just been rem...arking on how Matt and Frost would banter back and forth about whether there was a North and South Canadian river. Matt will be missed by a lot of folks in Norman. We loved your son Sondra, God bless you and his Family.Read more

Matt was a fellow high school class mate of mine, and always had the ability to make me laugh. He loved to argue, and I honestly was shocked he didn't go to law school. He would have been the next great lawyer... I also think he had a heart of gold and would have done anything for anyone. You could just sense that about him. The news of his passing saddened me, but at the same time filled me with wonderful memories of high school times with him that, after this many years, begin to fade. So thank you for that, Matt. You will be missed by so many people. Prayers to his daughter and family.

Matt was one of the best parts of a great graduate school experience. An independent thinker, he knew how to argue without getting personal. A genuinely funny guy, he made me laugh out loud. He cared about others. It was a privilege to have known him.

You were a special person who always had time for everyone. I met you through my mother when I was a freshman in high school. I had to do a science fair that year and I had to do it over tornados. My call you and explain what was going on. You gave me help never meeting me. The information that you sent me and the time you have me when I had a question I always treasured. You taught me how to build a tornado that at that time no one in my school had ever seen. You were a special person that will be missed. Prays for your family through this time .
