David Lynn Webb


David Lynn Webb passed away peacefully at St. Anthony's hospital on July 26th, 2018. He was born in Elk City, Oklahoma on November 14th, 1951 to Ernest and Loene Webb. He married his wife Jeanne on August 18th, 1972, had two children, and established their home in Norman in 1981. He graduated from Norman High School in 1970 and from UCO in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Education. He retired from Metro Tech in 2007 after 25 years of teaching Auto Service Technology. David enjoyed fishing, watching old Westerns, and spending time with his grandsons. He was preceded in death by his mother, Loene Webb. He is survived by his father, Ernest Webb of Noble, wife Jeanne Webb of Norman, son Mark Webb, daughter-in-law Rachel Webb and grandson Brooks Webb of Mustang, daughter Kristen Webb, son-in-law Michael Osburn, and grandson Damon Webb of Norman, brother Eddie Webb and sister-in-law Michelle Webb of Nevada, sister Sue Warnke and brother-in-law Jim Warnke of Elk City, sister Jeannie Humphrey and brother-in-law Gary Humphrey of Noble, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will be available to greet friends and loved ones at McMahan's Funeral Home in Noble on July 30th from 5-7 pm. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Noble on July 31st at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Noble food closet.
