David Donovan

The World Lost a Super Hero

David L. Donovan, born November 8, 1986, passed from this world to his Heavenly home, Monday January 28, 2019. His passing has left a gaping absence in the hearts of many. He was the biggest short guy you have ever seen. When he walked into the room it suddenly became the smallest room youve ever been in. He had the biggest laugh you ever heard. He loved to play, he loved wrestling, more than anything he loved Meghan Donovan; she was the love of his life. Growing up, Davids only goals were to be a husband, a daddy, and a soldier. He met and exceeded all those goals. He will be missed by so many.

David is survived by his wife Meghan and sons Colton, Nate, Tristan and Jaxx; his parents Franki and Hillbilly Anglin; brothers Deric Donovan, Aaron Anglin, Casey Ritch, Adam Foster, Cody Decordova, Sidney Houck, Journey Wright; sisters Cari Cini, Serenity and Promise Houck. Aunts, Uncles and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother Abraham Alvarez.

David served his country with the United States Army National Guard, doing tours during Hurricane Katrina and in both Afghanistan and Iraq. He was employed as a licensed journeyman HVAC with Elite Properties in Norman. David enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his family, taking his boys to school and enjoying the company of family and friends. He was a skilled mechanic and loved working on cars. There was nothing that David couldnt fix. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, sons and good friends. One of his greatest passions was going to wrestling events with the Noble Take Down Club and watching his boys mature and grow.

David was a faithful husband, daddy, son and friend. He was a man of faith who loved nothing more than family. Many looked up to David and the example he set. He was one of the good guys! He will surely be missed as he already is. Our lives will never be the same.

Services will be held 1:00pm Generations Church, 1433 W Boyd Norman, Ok 73072. Family will receive guests 2-6pm at Cobblestone Creek club house 1350 Cobblestone Creek Dr. Norman, Ok 73072.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Noble Take Down Club 6700 96th Ave. Noble, Ok 73068.
