Bruce Randall Thomas, age 63, of Midwest City, OK went to be with his Lord, after an extended illness on August 5, 2017 in Purcell, OK. Bruce was born on August 9, 1953 in Oklahoma City, OK to Ralph Winston and Maggie Virginia (Grayson) Thomas. He grew up in Midwest City, and graduated from Midwest City High School in 1971. He attended 3 years at the Univ. of Central Okla., Edmond, OK. He loved music and was a talented singer and musician. He served as a member of the band during junior and high school for the MWC Bombers. Bruce was also a member of the UCO band and served as a musician for the Falls Creek Baptist Assembly Orchestra. Bruce was employed by Sears in his early years, and was a faithful member of Glenwood Baptist Church where he served as a part-time music director. He accepted the Lord at Glenwood Baptist Church and was baptized. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Philip R. Thomas. Survivors include one uncle, Ward Thomas; three aunts, Billie Lyles, Carolyn Grayson, Ruth Grayson; and a host of family members. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Noble I.O.O.F Cemetery, Noble, OK.
