Bob's Story

Bob Ray Pitt 85, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at his home in Kingston. He was born on October 30, 1931 in Norman, Oklahoma to the late Fred Pitt and Mattie Lee Campbell Pitt. Bob was raised in Norman and later joined the United States Navy serving from 1952 to 1954. He married Dolores J. Parenica on December 31, 1954 in Moore, Oklahoma. Bob has lived the past 20 years in Sander Island View and worked at the D's Creative Corner in Kingston. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ and he enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing and collecting antique tractors.
He is survived by: Wife: Dolores Pitt, Kingston, Oklahoma; Children: Eugenia LaBar, Norman, Oklahoma, Robert W. Pitt, Norman, Oklahoma; 3 Grandchildren: Julie LaBar, Jesse LaBar and Maxwell Kersey; 3 Great grandchildren: Marley, Declan and Ainsley; Brother: Kenneth Pitt, Norman, Oklahoma.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Friday at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma from 10 am to 5 pm.
Services will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:30 am at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Norman, Oklahoma. > Joe Patterson will officiate the service. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
